Elvis & Priscilla leaving Divorce Hearing (photo series):
ELVISAND PRISCILLA : An American (plus kudos to Germany) Love Story:
ELVIS LOVED PRISCILLA and Priscilla loved Elvis. Their relationship began from the time they met, a few months before Elvis completed his stint in the US Army while stationed in Germany, up until (sadly) Elvis' passing on August 16, 1977.
With hindsight being "20/20" it is clear that both Elvis and Priscilla made "mistakes", before - during - and after their marriage ended, that adversely affected one another. Their love, and lines of communication, remained throughout Elvis' lifetime and produced their beloved daughter...Lisa Marie Presley. One can only imagine the hurt that they both felt with their divorce being "public knowledge", and all the emotional turmoil that being "single parents" thousands of miles apart, all the while trying to do what was best for their daughter.
Elvis was, if not THE, one of the most handsome men that God ever created. Priscilla was/is/always will be one of the most beautiful women that God ever created as well. Together they were...magic. Together they created a beautiful daughter who has "created her own footsteps" in this world (note: Lisa Marie has displayed her own musical/poetic talents as well) while carrying the name of...Presley (one can only speculate as to the amount of responsibility she has endured throughout her lifetime).
Priscilla has, in many cases, been wrongly "vilified" by fans and (in some cases) the press. I can only imagine how hard it must have been for her to make the decision to file for divorce from Elvis. Needless to say, Priscilla has been a WONDERFUL Mother, only seeing her interaction from "afar" of course, and (now) GrandMother.
Additionally Priscilla was able, through "thick and thin", to ensure that the Estate was given to Lisa Marie Presley which was Elvis' wish/intentions per his "Last Will". For that alone every Elvis Presley fan owes Priscilla a huge...THANK YOU and may God bless you...and your entire family!
Lastly, they say "A Picture Says A Thousand Words" so we hope you enjoy these beautiful photographs as we will let these pictures (individually and collectively) simply...speak for themselves.
